WAGON ON SAND

Pulling the Lounge Wagon on the sand. There are several factors that affect a wagon's ability to be pulled through sand. The type of sand (dry or wet, large granules or small), the wheels, the wagon weight, the weight of what is loaded into the wagon, and the strength of the person pulling the wagon. We have tested many wheels for sand performance, and remember we also need to support 2 adults when sitting. For large granules and wet sand, the All-Terrain Wheels perform best. For small granules and powder-type sand, the Sand Wheels perform best. 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

If the lounge Wagon order includes sand wheels, the sand wheels are substituted for the All-terrain wheels, not in addition to them. Shipping costs and customs process dictate this change.

1) Do the sand wheels really work better on soft sand?
Yes. The wider design helps the wheels float over soft sand instead of digging in, making it much easier to pull a loaded wagon at the beach.

2) Will the sand wheels fit all Lounge Wagon models?
Yes. The sand wheels are designed to fit all standard Lounge Wagon models and replace the regular wheels easily.

3) Are the sand wheels difficult to install?
Not at all. Most customers can swap them on in just a few minutes using simple hand tools.

4) Can I use sand wheels on pavement and grass?
You can, but they are optimized for sand. For everyday use on pavement, turf, and hard ground, the standard wheels provide the best ride and durability.

5) Do I need to remove the wheels to fold the wagon?
No. The wagon can still be folded with the sand wheels installed, although the folded size may be slightly larger than with standard wheels.
