For most of North America, we ship from Vista, CA. Standard flat rate shipping provides for items to be shipped within 1-2 business days from order, with delivery 2-9 business days later, and applies only to the Contiguous States. Due to the size & weight of the Lounge Wagon, shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and internationally is significantly more expensive, and hence we quote carrier rates at checkout.
Many of our products are available throughout the World through UPS Worldwide or DHL Express. Shipping, Duties, and Taxes are calculated at checkout where available, and delivery is usually 7-10 business days, depending upon the destination country. If duties and taxes are not on your invoice, then they are your responsibility upon receipt.
We offer expedited shipping, which may be selected during checkout. Orders for in-stock items usually ship the next business day. Expedited services from UPS and FedEx for 2-day service and 3-day service are expedited services but are not guaranteed to be delivered on those days, as they do experience delays. Items may be shipped direct from overseas warehouses, for items on backorder we specify the expected ship date which is shown in the product title.
Please note that requests to change shipping address or returns due to a wrong or incomplete address incur an extra fee to cover the cost of shipping the returned item and/or reshipping to the alternate address. Once shipped, it is difficult to change the address, and the method cannot be changed. In most cases, by providing your cell phone and email, our courier will pre-warn you of your delivery. All ship times are calculated in business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Ship times are calculated as "days in transit," which start the day after the courier collects the order. Once collected by the courier, our obligations are met, and subsequent delays caused by the courier, whether due to COVID-19, are out of our control and responsibility.
With every order you will be issued your own unique Malo'o order number, tracking details will be provided at time of shipping so you can track delivery.
CHANGES TO DELIVERY & RETURNS
Once orders ship, you will receive a tracking number and shipping notice. In most cases, we ship with FedEx or USPS; once shipped, the shipping method cannot be changed. UNDELIVERABLE OR RETURN TO SENDER
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If a package is returned to us by the carrier due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided at checkout, a $10 reprocessing fee, plus any additional shipping costs, will be required to re-ship the order.
If you prefer to cancel the order, the refund will be reduced by the $10 re-processing fee and the actual shipping charges we paid to the carrier, which may be higher than the shipping amount charged at checkout.
International Duties, Taxes & VAT
For international orders, import duties, taxes, VAT, customs fees, brokerage fees, and other government-imposed charges may apply upon arrival in the destination country.
Where available, these charges may be collected at checkout and will be clearly displayed during checkout. If duties, taxes, VAT, or other import fees are not shown at checkout, they are not included in the order total and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Due to carrier, destination, and customs limitations, Lounge Wagon is not always able to provide Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping options. In such cases, shipments are sent Delivered at Place (DAP), and the customer is responsible for any duties, taxes, VAT, customs clearance fees, or related charges assessed by local authorities.
Failure to pay required import charges may result in delays, refusal of delivery, return of the shipment, or abandonment by customs authorities. Any additional shipping charges, return fees, customs charges, or losses incurred as a result of unpaid duties, taxes, or VAT may be deducted from any applicable refund.
By placing an international order, the customer acknowledges and accepts responsibility for any import duties, taxes, VAT, customs fees, or other charges not specifically included and disclosed at checkout.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING
1. When does my order ship? Orders are shipped as soon as possible, Monday - Friday , and usually within 48 hours.
2. When will my order arrive? We ship via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, and USPS for the USA. Most items will arrive in 3-7 business days. International orders are shipped via DHL and will arrive in 7-10 days. You will receive an email notification when the order is shipped, and then you can track it on the shipping service website.
3. What are my shipping options? Flat rate shipping is via USPS ground or FedEx Ground. Depending upon your location, you may have express options that you can select at checkout.
4. Do we ship internationally? Most items are available for International Shipment from the USA via DHL, and any duties and taxes will be calculated at checkout when available. If they are not listed at checkout, then they are the customer's responsibility in the destination country. Presently, we are not shipping to European countries and the UK.
5. Do you ship to P.O. Boxes? - We can ship USPS to P.O. Boxes, but the packages need to be small in size. The Lounge Wagon cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
