WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
Based on 456 reviews
Is there a way to remove the wheels so we can fit the wagon into our trunk?
Yes. We recommend replacing the cotter pins with 5/64" x 1 9/16" hair pins also called quick-disconnect pins. You can then remove the pins and wheels for transportation and re-attach them at your destination.
How do we use the umbrella on hard ground?
We just made a collapsible umbrella stand that will hold both umbrella types and can be stored in the back pocket. (see LW accessories)
How do we maintain our Lounge Wagon?
Please see the Lounge Wagon Care Instructions paper
Can you take the Lounge Wagon on an airplane?
Most airlines define the size and weight of checked baggage. The length + width + height of the LW in the box is 77" and 82" if assembled and collapsed, and 53lbs. On most airlines, this is considered oversized baggage and subject to fees.
I notice that when sitting over the steering axel, the wagon can rock back?
This is normal. The back axel has 2 points on contact and will not rock. The steering only has one, so the steering can function and turn. There is a small space between the steering axel and the welded safety ring. When sitting on the steering side of the wagon, it can rock back until the axel touches the safety ring. This can be 1/2' - 1". You can minimize this by making sure the steering wheels are forward and the handle is in the holding strap. This will not affect the hauling or sitting in the Lounge Wagon. When only one person is sitting, please sit on the non-handle side for greater stability. (You can also remove the washer between the chassis and the steering axel to reduce the space between the axel and chassis which reduces the wobble)
Does the side table work on either side or can we use two?
Yes, it can move form either side or you can use two side tables with the Lounge Wagon.
Does your wagon have a break to lock it in place when you are using it as a bench?
The wagon comes with a brake pin that you can insert into the rear axel and wheel to prevent it from rolling on hard surfaces.
The handle gets in the way when we are sitting. Can we do something about it?
Yes, you can take the handle and front wheels and rotate them 180 degrees under the wagon so the handle rests under the wagon and through the rear axels. You can also replace the nut/not on the handle to handle bracket with a locking pin so you can remove it. Please see article here
Do all Lounge Wagon Umbrellas attach to the wagon?
Yes. All umbrella's bottom poles can be inserted into the umbrella loop on the back of the wagon backrest and then into the ground. The top of the umbrella is then inserted into the bottom pole. If you cannot put the umbrella into the ground, we suggest you utilize the umbrella stand.
